The Family Tomb And The Unwelcome Sentinel

| Description | This time we've gathered for a job, in which a girl, named Va, asked TFC to drive away a persisent knight, who hanged around her family tomb for several weeks. After we talked to the knight, he handed us a letter for Va. We passed it to Va and found out, that the knight was actually a tree sentinel and originated from a druidic group, Order of life or something. In the same time Va was a descendant of a competing druidic family and the letter contained a death threat. We didn't like the fact, that the tree sentinel was going to kill Va for the deeds of her ancestors and when we returned to him, we've made an agreement, that he won't touch the girl, if we would help him to get an artifact from the tomb. We went to the tomb and kicked the ashes out of a bunch of Va's ancestors' remains, which were hostile to us. By the way our druid barely died, but I was there to help him. Also we met a nice burning zombie-dog and we almost forgot why we came there, while we were petting it. At last, we recalled that we were in that tomb for a quest, and found Va's ancestor, who was conscious and not hostile to us. After a chatter, he decided to go and fight the tree sentinel. We just stared at their fight, but the burning man didn't stand a chance. Then we returned to the tomb, my comrades solved a puzzle on wall to find a safe route to the distant room of the tomb. No idea how they figured it out, I just followed. There we met another Va's ancestor, who had the artifact, for which tree sentinel was looking. Our negotiations about him giving the artifact to us ended with our druid badly beaten again. That burning man decided to repeat the fate of the previous one. While we were following him, to glare his fight with the sentinel, we decided that we can't give away the artifact from the tomb of our employer without his approval. The negotiations with sentinel didn't end well and we were forced to kill the sentinel. I didn't want such an end for him, but we got carried away. Then we returned to Va, helped her to move the remains of her ancestors back to their places and were awarded with a nourishing dinner for that. Next morning, we headed back to the guild. |
